Which rights do I need to hold?

Updated on 20/07/2026
You must hold all necessary rights or have permission from every relevant rights holder to host and stream the track on NoyzHub, including samples, covers, masters and shared rights.

Be authorized to publish and stream the track

Before every upload or update, NoyzHub asks you to confirm that you hold all rights required to publish the track on the platform.

You must own the relevant rights or have obtained every agreement, license, authorization or assignment needed from the people and organizations that hold them.

Which elements may be protected?

A track can involve several categories of rights:

  • the composition and melody;
  • lyrics;
  • protected arrangements;
  • performers’ rights;
  • the sound recording or master;
  • phonographic production rights;
  • samples and extracts;
  • artwork, photographs, logos and other visuals.

Music created by a band

Being a member of the band does not automatically mean that you can decide alone how the recording is distributed. Check agreements involving writers, composers, performers, producers, labels, distributors and other rights holders.

When rights are shared, make sure publication on NoyzHub is authorized by the relevant parties.

Samples and extracts

A sample from another work or recording may require several permissions. A short, modified or publicly available extract is not automatically free to use.

Do not upload the track when you cannot guarantee that the necessary permissions have been obtained.

Covers and adaptations

A cover can involve rights in the composition, lyrics, adaptation or arrangement. Requirements depend on the repertoire, licenses and countries involved.

NoyzHub does not automatically provide a cover license. The uploader remains responsible for checking the legal position.

Labels, distributors and existing contracts

An artist may own some rights while having granted exclusivity to a label, producer or distributor. Review your contracts before uploading the file.

The fact that a track is available on another platform does not prove that you may also host it on NoyzHub.

License granted to NoyzHub

Under the Terms of Use, publication grants NoyzHub a non-exclusive, free and worldwide license to host, store, encode, reproduce and stream the content as part of the platform and its communication.

This does not transfer ownership of your content, but you must be legally able to grant that license.

Payment and royalties

Uploading is free. NoyzHub does not pay users revenue, royalties or compensation for hosting, listening or featuring tracks on the platform.

Removal and reports

NoyzHub may remove, disable or make unavailable content that is illegal, unauthorized or infringes third-party rights. Accounts or pages may also be subject to action in the event of a violation.

When legal uncertainty concerns a specific track, obtain advice from a qualified professional before publishing it.
