Edit a track

Updated on 20/07/2026
From the Music section, choose Edit to update genres, public status and permitted information, or replace the MP3 and artwork when the track type allows it.

Open the edit form

Open the artist page management area, go to Music and select Edit for the relevant track.

The form loads the existing information and shows which fields can be changed.

Edit a standalone track

For a track that is not linked to the discography, you can edit:

  • the title;
  • the album or release name;
  • the release type;
  • the year;
  • selected genres;
  • the optional public free-form style;
  • the artwork;
  • the MP3 file;
  • the active or inactive status.

Edit a release-linked track

When a track is linked to the discography, its title, release, year and artwork come from that release. These elements cannot be edited directly in the Music section.

Correct them in the Discography section. You can still update genres, track status and the audio file from Music.

Replace the MP3 file

Select a new file in the MP3 field to replace the current audio. It must be a valid MP3 no larger than 15 MB.

Leave the field empty to keep the existing file. Listen to the replacement before uploading it and test it again on the public page after saving.

Replace the artwork

For a standalone track, upload new JPG, PNG or WebP artwork up to 8 MB. Leave the field empty to keep the current image.

Artwork for a linked track is managed through its associated release.

Update the genres

At least one listed genre must remain selected. You can use several genre fields, but the same genre cannot be selected twice. The optional free-form style provides an additional public description.

Confirm the rights

When saving changes, confirm again that you hold the rights required to publish and distribute the track on NoyzHub.

This also applies when replacing the audio with a new version, remix, cover or recording containing samples.

Temporarily hide the track

Disable the track to make it inactive. This is preferable to deletion when you only need time to correct information or prepare a replacement.

Check the result

After saving, test playback and review the artwork, genres and order on the public page. Refresh the page if the browser temporarily keeps an older version.
