How can I manage my tracks?
Open the music management area
From the management area of your artist or band page, open the Music section. It contains both the upload form and the list of existing tracks.
Only the page owner and people with the required management permissions can make these changes.
Add up to five tracks
The current limit is five tracks per page. Once the limit is reached, edit or delete an existing track before adding another one.
Every upload requires a valid MP3, at least one selected genre and confirmation of the necessary distribution rights.
Link a track to the discography
When a track belongs to an existing release, choose the release-linked option. A discography track can only be linked once to an audio file.
The title, release, year and artwork then come from the discography. Edit those main details in the Discography section.
Manage standalone tracks
For a standalone track, you can enter:
- the title;
- the album or release name;
- the type: single, demo, album track, live or other;
- the release year;
- music genres;
- optional artwork.
Enable or disable a track
A track can be active or inactive without being deleted. Use this option to temporarily hide a title while keeping its file and information in the management area.
Change the order
Reorder tracks from the Music list. The saved order determines how they are presented on the page.
The first track is marked as the featured track and may be used to present the band in certain event-related contexts.
Review play counts
The management list displays the number of recorded plays for each track. More detailed page statistics may provide additional context.
Do not attempt to manipulate these figures through artificial listening or repeated refreshing.
Edit a track
The edit action lets you change the permitted information, genres, public status and, when needed, the MP3 file. Standalone artwork can also be replaced.
Leave a file field empty to keep the current file.
Delete a track
Deletion removes the track from the page and deletes its hosted audio file. For a standalone track, its local artwork is also removed. For a release-linked track, the link to the discography entry is removed without automatically deleting the complete release.
Check your decision before confirming. Use deactivation rather than deletion when you only need to hide a track temporarily.
Keep a coherent selection
Use the five available positions for representative, properly completed tracks. Replace outdated versions, keep artwork current and regularly test playback from the public page.
