Keep a history of concerts
A concert does not automatically disappear from NoyzHub after its date. It remains connected to the participating artists, venue, festival and organizers.
This history presents the past activity of a project and helps users find events they attended.
Where can you find old dates?
Open the Concerts tab of an artist, venue, festival or organization page. Events are separated into upcoming and past concerts.
Past concerts from the current year may be grouped by month, while older events appear in a separate section.
Open a past concert page
The page can still provide:
- the date and venue;
- the poster;
- the performing artists;
- the organizers;
- the available historical information.
Correct historical information
If an old event page contains an error, use the edit option when your account has the required permissions. Correct factual information such as the date, venue, lineup, poster or description.
Do not turn an old event page into a new concert. A new date should have its own page.
Should past concerts be deleted?
No. A concert does not need to be deleted simply because it is over. Its history remains useful to artists, venues and concertgoers.
Deletion is mainly appropriate for a duplicate, fake event or an entry that cannot be corrected in another way.
Be careful with permanent deletion
Deleting an event removes the concert and its connections. Depending on where the action is performed, only authorized accounts may receive this option.
Make sure the event is not a legitimate historical date before confirming.
Cancelled or postponed concerts
When an event is postponed, update the existing page if it still represents the same concert. If it is permanently cancelled, clearly indicate the situation in the available event information.
Do not leave an active ticket link or misleading details after a cancellation.
A useful history for NoyzHub pages
Past concerts demonstrate the real activity of an artist, venue, festival or organizer. A clean and accurate list improves the page and preserves the history of live events.
