Formed in 2023, DETHSCEND combines the crushing heaviness of doom and sludge with the intensity of grindcore, drawing inspiration from bands such as Primitive Man, Body Void, Absent in Body and Black Tomb. Founded by Cédric on guitar, vocals and songwriting, the project was later joined by Matthieu on guitar, Julien on bass and Tom on drums. The band is currently working on its debut album, with recording scheduled to begin in 2026.
