What are the Music Awards entry requirements?
Requirements specific to each music competition
Entry requirements for the NoyzHub Music Awards may vary from one edition to another. A competition organized around a season, country or particular event may use different criteria.
The rules shown on the official edition page are therefore the reference and should be read before entering.
Manage an artist page on NoyzHub
Under the format currently used, entry is made through an artist or band page managed on NoyzHub. This page identifies the project, the submitted track and the person authorized to complete the entry.
The page should contain enough information and represent the genuine music project being entered.
Enter a track already published on the platform
The selected track must have been added to the artist page before it is entered in a Music Award. There is no need to send a separate file only for the competition: the artist selects a title already available on NoyzHub.
Under the format currently used, one artist page enters one track in the relevant edition unless a different rule is clearly announced.
Meet the edition’s eligibility criteria
Depending on the Music Award, the rules may specify:
- eligible countries or territories;
- accepted music genres;
- a release period for the track;
- the type of artist or project that may enter;
- rules concerning music generated with artificial intelligence;
- the number of tracks that may be entered;
- any age limits or special requirements.
These examples apply only when they are included in the rules of the edition.
Own or control the necessary rights
The artist must be authorized to publish and submit the track. They must have the necessary rights for the recording, composition, lyrics, artwork and any other material used.
A track that infringes third-party rights may be removed from the competition and from the platform.
Enter during the official registration period
An entry submitted before registration opens or after the deadline may be rejected. The official schedule normally identifies the entry period, listening phase and expected result date.
Having a track on NoyzHub does not automatically enter it in the competition. The artist must confirm participation through the tool provided for that edition.
Follow the rules governing plays
Artists may communicate about their entry and invite their audience to listen. Bots, scripts, abusive refreshing, artificial play services and other manipulation methods are prohibited.
NoyzHub may exclude invalid plays and apply the measures stated in the rules, including disqualification when fraudulent activity is established.
Check everything before confirming
- the correct track has been selected;
- the artist page is up to date;
- the required rights are controlled;
- the competition dates are understood;
- the edition’s special criteria are met.
Which rule applies if information differs?
The official edition page and its rules always take priority. NoyzHub may change the requirements of future Music Awards as long as those requirements are announced before entry.
