How does the NoyzHub Music Awards competition work?
The main stages of a NoyzHub Music Awards competition
The exact format depends on the rules of each edition, but the first NoyzHub Music Awards generally follow several clearly dated phases.
This structure gives artists time to enter, allows listeners to discover the tracks and gives NoyzHub time to verify the results before confirming the winner.
1. Edition announcement
NoyzHub publishes a dedicated page presenting the Music Award name, any associated theme, schedule, entry requirements, prizes and ranking rules.
This page is the official source for the relevant edition.
2. Entry period
Eligible artists select a track already published on their NoyzHub page. The entry must be confirmed before the stated deadline.
Checks may be carried out to make sure the project and track meet the announced requirements.
3. Listening phase
The listening period begins on the scheduled date. Artists may share their entry and invite fans to discover the track on the platform.
Under the format currently used, the ranking is based on valid plays counted during this phase. Listening before or after the official period is not necessarily included in the competition total.
4. Play verification
NoyzHub analyses playback activity to reduce artificial behavior. The system may identify or exclude excessive refreshing, abnormal repetition, bots and other patterns inconsistent with genuine listening.
The final number of valid plays may therefore differ from a raw number of page loads.
Why are anti-fraud details confidential?
Publishing every technical threshold and rule would make them easier to avoid. NoyzHub therefore explains the general principle of the checks without revealing settings that could be used to bypass them.
The best approach is to bring genuine listeners to the platform and let them listen naturally.
5. Closing and final review
At the end of the listening phase, counting stops at the announced time. NoyzHub may then complete the necessary checks before publishing the final result.
Any ranking visible during the competition may remain provisional until final validation.
6. Winner confirmation
Under the format currently used, the track with the strongest result after verification wins the edition. The rules may provide a specific method for ties or exceptional situations.
7. Featured promotion and badge
The winning track receives the edition badge and the featured placement announced by NoyzHub. The duration and placements are described in the Music Award information.
Can the format change?
Yes. A future edition may use another selection method, different criteria, several categories or different prizes. NoyzHub will publish those changes before registration opens.
Always read the rules of the specific online music competition you want to enter.
