How do you contact music venues?
Find the right contact
Review the venue website and social pages before writing. Look for a programming, booking or production address and follow the submission instructions. A general business address is still better than randomly messaging several team members.
NoyzHub search can help identify venue, festival and organization pages. When a contact button is available, the platform messaging system can start the conversation.
Write a message that is easy to scan
Use a precise subject containing the band name, genre and proposed period. Introduce the project, explain in one sentence why it fits and make a concrete request.
- two or three possible dates;
- your home city and lineup;
- one link to the artist page or EPK;
- an obvious track and live video;
- your details and the name of the person replying.
Personalize without writing an essay
Mention a recent bill or artist only when the comparison is genuine. Do not pretend to know the venue if you do not. Five short paragraphs are usually more useful than pasting a full biography into the email.
Present a complete NoyzHub page
Your page should show a strong track, live video, short biography, members, genres, concerts and a booking contact. A promoter can then evaluate the project without opening several services.
Tour Manager is useful for a geographically targeted date search. A public request still does not replace written confirmation of the show conditions.
Follow up and track replies
Follow up once, politely, after the venue’s stated delay or about one to two weeks. Record the date, reply and next action in a simple table. If the answer is no, thank them and, where appropriate, ask when future submissions are welcome.
