Add band members

Updated on 20/07/2026
The Members section lets you find a musician already listed on NoyzHub or create a profile, then add instruments, a photo and the period spent in the band.

Open the member management section

From the artist page editor, open Members. This section connects musician profiles to the band and records their role in the project.

Search for an existing musician

Start by searching for the member by name. When a musician profile already exists on NoyzHub, select it instead of creating a duplicate.

Check the name and location information before confirming that it is the correct person.

Create a new musician profile

If no profile matches, the form can create one. First name, last name, country and city are required.

You can also add:

  • a nickname or stage name;
  • a birth date;
  • a death date when applicable;
  • a photo;
  • instruments or functions in the band.

Select instruments

Instruments are chosen from the NoyzHub list. One member may have several roles, such as vocals, guitar and keyboards.

Select only the roles that the person actually performs in this band.

Add the membership period

You can record a joining date and leaving date. A checkbox indicates that the musician is still a current member.

This allows the page to distinguish current members from former members.

Edit a connected profile

Use the edit action to correct member information, photo, instruments or membership dates.

A musician profile may be used elsewhere on NoyzHub, so review personal information carefully before changing it.

Remove a member from the band

The remove action deletes the connection between the musician and the band. It does not necessarily delete the musician profile itself from NoyzHub.

When someone has simply left the band, it is usually better to enter a leaving date and keep the person listed as a former member.

Present an accurate lineup

An updated member list helps listeners identify the musicians and provides a more reliable history of the project.

It complements the biography, discography and other information on the NoyzHub artist page.
