Track of the month badge
How is the ranking calculated?
After the month ends, NoyzHub counts validated listening events in the period using the Europe/Paris time zone. Plays rejected by counting controls do not enter the chart.
A Top 3, one number-one badge
The monthly snapshot stores the first three tracks and their period play counts. The public monthly track badge is displayed for the title in first place.
Where is the badge shown?
The distinction can appear beside the track in listening lists, on its page and on the artist page. Its tooltip lists winning months when the same track ranked first more than once.
Different from a manually featured track
A featured track selected in artist page management is an editorial choice by that page. It is not the badge calculated from the monthly chart.
Why the lifetime total can differ
The general counter covers the lifetime of a track, while the monthly chart uses only validated plays during that month. A recent track can therefore win without having the largest historic total.
