Play statistics
Understand the displayed total
Every track has a play counter. It increases only when playback reaches at least 15 seconds or 35% of the track and is not rejected as a close repetition.
Information connected to counting
The system can record listening duration, completion rate, discovery context, date and an available country code. This data supports counting, controls and rankings.
Monthly chart and Music Awards
The monthly chart uses listening events marked as counted during the period. A validated play for an entered track can also count in a Music Awards edition only during its official contest phase.
Current artist visibility
Music management shows the total for each track. A complete dashboard with charts, sources, duration, countries and exports is not yet available to every manager.
Difference from counting rules
