Chorosia is a 4-piece band that will travel all the way from far away Austria to deliver their soundwall of forward thinking sludge metal. The band incorporates elements of death metal and post-rock to create monstrous music often described as unpredictable' and weird', with occasional shimmers of beauty and hope. They have not gone unnoticed, playing with giants of the genre like Neurosis, Yob and Crowbar. Chorosia released their latest EP Stray Dogs in 2023 and will bring it to Belgium for the first time.

ZWARTALDER sludge/black metal - Leuven
This 4-piece band based in Leuven has been experimenting for the past years to craft their own blend of atmospheric black metal and sludge. They released their debut material as the interwoven double EP Bovenhuids Doven, containing 5 towering songs that each deal with different aspects of introspection. After recording this material in Zottegems own Dunk!Studios they will return again to perform it live in De Platte Batterie.
